Mod organizer failing to download

I heard about Mod Organizer, dl'd it, and migrated all my mods over to it and was fairly impressed. I then installed Linux Mint on a new partition but I guess something went wrong because I couldn't get back into my windows 10 disk. I ended up formatting the disk and reinstalling Skyrim. Mod Organizer saved me at least 4-5 hours.

I have this as well and the advice I recieved is, just use manual downloads and activate the mods into MO from there. It's due to Nexus updating to a european standard and they have updates for NMM but do not support MO.
